Artist’s Proof curated the art program at 2112 Penn in Washington D.C. - a project by Swedish developers Skanska and designed by award-winning architectural firm, Gensler. Inspired by the elegant sculptural façade, the works commissioned celebrated the metaphorical dance of strangers and friends intersecting in public spaces.

‘Art in the workplace engages people—it adds a definitive human element and warmth that can boost wellbeing and productivity. For the 2112 Penn art program we were ultimately drawn to Artist Proof’s vision and portfolio of local artists. We partnered with Peggy Sparks to evaluate a variety of art and media that reflects the Washington, D.C. community. We chose pieces that complete the space, complementing the building materials and design by adding dimension and warmth. Craig Cahoon’s painting, Rendezvous, embodies collaboration and community with fluent, abstract shapes. Constellation, a 12-foot mesh sculpture by Edward Stockman adds depth and character, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside.’ 2112 Penn LinkedIn Post, Skanska, March 3, 2020
