In Collaboration with the W Washington D.C. , Artist’s Proof is pleased to announce ‘Fashion Photography of Fred Maroon, which highlights Washington D.C. photographer Fred Maroon (American, 1924-2001) and his series of eight fashion editorials for LOOK Magazine. The photographs were taken between 1960 and 1970 in remote and challenging locations such as Mongolia, Afghanistan, Egypt, Jamaica, and Japan. Maroon's works are included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the International Center of Photography, and the Library of Congress.
